About Your Web Site
The District 14 web pages, hosted by the Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG)
Northern California World Service Area (NCWSA) web site, is the
official Internet representation for District 14. All of the AFG
and District requirements apply to its content and use.
Our objective is to identify essential and important uses of available
web facilities for the District, lead the District to realize those
uses, and to coordinate the development of "nice to have" usage ideas
into essential or important uses wherever possible. In this way, we
intend to share the Experience, Strength and Hope of our AFG program
through the world wide web to further help families and friends of alcoholics.
Web Site Coordinator
The web site coordinator is given operational responsibility and is accountable
to the District for the performance of the web site. The service position performs
as executive (actively producing work) as well as representing a process
(mainte-nance of District's web use). With guidance from the District business
group, the coordinator is given the power to make decisions, spend money, or
take other actions, in support of the District web site.
The coordinator is responsible for any updates and maintenance to our
current on-line information (web content), and shall act promptly on all
tasks in coordination with the District positions involved in web content.
Like other service positions, the Webmaster accounts for how the
District is using its web resources by expressing regular reports to the
District, and to guide the District to extend, transfer, and retire those
resources to meet its evolving interests.
