Service Manual  Each AFG meeting group should have a Service Manual as a resource for planning and running meetings. The Al-Anon/Alateen web site has information for getting and viewing a copy. AFG Meeting Guidelines The Al-Anon Family Groups' web site also makes available on-line several useful Guideline documents in Acrobat PDF format. Helpful titles for your group include "Suggested Programs for Meetings" (G-13), "Members Interested in Speaking" (G-1), and "Beginners' Meeting" (G-2). Speaker Meeting  Has your group considered hosting the monthly DISTRICT 14 Speaker Meeting? Information, suggestions, and format materials are available from the Speaker Meeting Coordinator. The meeting is held monthly on the 4th Saturday of every month at Walnut Creek Kaiser Hospital, 1515 Newell, 3rd Floor, Oak Room 1. (Map)

We encourage the hosting group to have an Alateen, an AA, and an Al-Anon speaker. We award Birthday chips, offer refreshments, and have donation drawings. The Speaker Meeting Coordinator needs to know in advance your group's hosting plans so that the appropriate flyer can be created and distributed.
