Registering a New Group, or Updating Group Records


For the most effective participation in Al-Anon, your Group needs to have accurate information on file with:
  • The World Service Office   (WSO)
  • The World Service Area (Group Records Coordinator) in which your District is located   (Northern California World Service Area (Committee))
  • The District (Representative) where your group is located
1.  Fill out the Al-Anon Registration/Group Records Change Form.  This form may be downloaded from  http://www.al-anon.alateen.org/members/  .   To sign in at this website, the password is a name (any name) of your group, immediately followed by the letters "afg".  Example:  rosevilleafg        Then click on "Forms" , and then on "Al-Anon Group Registration Form".  You can then download the form, and print it out.
2.  Make three copies of the filled-out form
3.  Mail the original to WSO at the address given on the form.
4.  Mail a copy to the Area Group Records Coordinator.  This address can be obtained    HERE
5.  Mail or deliver a copy to your District Representative
6.  Keep a copy for your own files.
